My son, do not forget my law; but let your heart keep my commandments; My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
For the length of days and long life will they add to you; for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
And peace, mercy, and truth will not forsake you; bind them about your neck; write them upon the tablets of your heart: Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you shall find favor, grace, and understanding in the sight of God and men. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and rely not on your own wisdom. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Be not wise in your own eyes; revere the LORD, and depart from evil. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
It shall be healing to your flesh and marrow to your bones. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Honor the LORD with your substance and with the first fruits of all your crops; Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your wine presses shall burst out with new wine. then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD, neither be weary of his corrections. My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke,
For whom the LORD loves he corrects, even as a father corrects his son. for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the son of the man who finds understanding. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and its gains than fine gold. for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.
She is more valuable than precious stones; and there is nothing to be compared to her. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
