22 וּמַטֵּ֖ה בִּנְיָמִ֑ן וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֔ן אֲבִידָ֖ן בֶּן־ גִּדְעֹנִֽי׃ Then the tribe of Benjamin, the chief of the people of Benjamin being Abidan the son of Gideoni, The tribe of Benjamin will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.
23 וּצְבָא֖וֹ וּפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם חֲמִשָּׁ֧ה וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים אֶ֖לֶף וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵאֽוֹת׃ his company as listed being 35,400. His division numbers 35,400.
24 כָּֽל־ הַפְּקֻדִ֞ים לְמַחֲנֵ֣ה אֶפְרַ֗יִם מְאַ֥ת אֶ֛לֶף וּשְׁמֹֽנַת־ אֲלָפִ֥ים וּמֵאָ֖ה לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וּשְׁלִשִׁ֖ים יִסָּֽעוּ׃ ס All those listed of the camp of Ephraim, by their companies, were 108,100. They shall set out third on the march. All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.
25 דֶּ֣גֶל מַחֲנֵ֥ה דָ֛ן צָפֹ֖נָה לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י דָ֔ן אֲחִיעֶ֖זֶר בֶּן־ עַמִּֽישַׁדָּֽי׃ “On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan by their companies, the chief of the people of Dan being Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
26 וּצְבָא֖וֹ וּפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם שְׁנַ֧יִם וְשִׁשִּׁ֛ים אֶ֖לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵאֽוֹת׃ his company as listed being 62,700. His division numbers 62,700.
27 וְהַחֹנִ֥ים עָלָ֖יו מַטֵּ֣ה אָשֵׁ֑ר וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י אָשֵׁ֔ר פַּגְעִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־ עָכְרָֽן׃ And those to camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, the chief of the people of Asher being Pagiel the son of Ochran, The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran.
28 וּצְבָא֖וֹ וּפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם אֶחָ֧ד וְאַרְבָּעִ֛ים אֶ֖לֶף וַחֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ his company as listed being 41,500. His division numbers 41,500.
29 וּמַטֵּ֖ה נַפְתָּלִ֑י וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י נַפְתָּלִ֔י אֲחִירַ֖ע בֶּן־ עֵינָֽן׃ Then the tribe of Naphtali, the chief of the people of Naphtali being Ahira the son of Enan, The tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.
30 וּצְבָא֖וֹ וּפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם שְׁלֹשָׁ֧ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֛ים אֶ֖לֶף וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵאֽוֹת׃ his company as listed being 53,400. His division numbers 53,400.
31 כָּל־ הַפְּקֻדִים֙ לְמַ֣חֲנֵה דָ֔ן מְאַ֣ת אֶ֗לֶף וְשִׁבְעָ֧ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֛ים אֶ֖לֶף וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֑וֹת לָאַחֲרֹנָ֥ה יִסְע֖וּ לְדִגְלֵיהֶֽם׃ פ All those listed of the camp of Dan were 157,600. They shall set out last, standard by standard.” All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last, under their standards.
32 אֵ֛לֶּה פְּקוּדֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֑ם כָּל־ פְּקוּדֵ֤י הַֽמַּחֲנֹת֙ לְצִבְאֹתָ֔ם שֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֥וֹת אֶ֙לֶף֙ וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֔ים וַחֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּֽׁים׃ These are the people of Israel as listed by their fathers’ houses. All those listed in the camps by their companies were 603,550. These are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.
33 וְהַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם לֹ֣א הָתְפָּקְד֔וּ בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃ But the Levites were not listed among the people of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses. The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.
34 וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־ מֹשֶׁ֗ה כֵּֽן־ חָנ֤וּ לְדִגְלֵיהֶם֙ וְכֵ֣ן נָסָ֔עוּ אִ֥ישׁ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖יו עַל־ בֵּ֥ית אֲבֹתָֽיו׃ Thus did the people of Israel. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they camped by their standards, and so they set out, each one in his clan, according to his fathers’ house. So the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.
