And He was teaching them many things in parables, and He was saying to them in His teaching, And he was teaching them many things in parables, and in his teaching he said to them: He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said:
“Listen! Behold, the one sowing went out to sow. “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed.
And it came to pass in the sowing that some indeed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. And as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
And other fell upon the rocky place, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up because of it not having depth of soil. Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and because of having no root, it withered. And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
And other fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it gave no fruit. Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain.
And others fell into the good soil, and it was giving fruit, coming up and increasing, and one bearing thirtyfold, and one sixty, and one a hundred.” And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”
