Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”
He answered, “What did Moses command you?” He answered them, “What did Moses command you?” “What did Moses command you?” he replied.
They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.” They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to send her away.” They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.”
But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment. And Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied.
But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’
For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
