1 He looked up and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury. Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.
2 He saw a certain poor widow casting in two small brass coins. and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
3 He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them, And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
4 for all these put in gifts for God from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.” For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
5 As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said, And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
6 “As for these things which you see, the days will come in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down.” “As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
