4	For they all contributed out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.	For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”	For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.	for they all contributed to the offering from their surplus; but she, from her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.”	All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
5	As some of the disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and consecrated gifts, Jesus said,	And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said,	And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,	And while some were talking about the temple, that it was decorated with beautiful stones and vowed gifts, He said,	Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
6	“As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.	“As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”	<i>As for</i> these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.	“<i>As for</i> these things which you are observing, the days will come when there will not be left <i>one</i> stone upon another, which will not be torn down.”	“As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
7	“Teacher, they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?	And they asked him, “Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”	And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign <i>will there be</i> when these things shall come to pass?	They asked Him questions, saying, “Teacher, when therefore will these things happen? And what <i>will be</i> the sign when these things are about to take place?”	“Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
8	Jesus answered, “See to it that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He, and, ‘The time is near. Do not follow them.	And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.	And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am <i>Christ</i>; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.	And He said, “See to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am <i>He,</i>’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not go after them.	He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
9	When you hear of wars and rebellions, do not be alarmed. These things must happen first, but the end is not imminent.	And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once.”	But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end <i>is</i> not by and by.	And when you hear of wars and revolts, do not be alarmed; for these things must take place first, but the end <i>will</i> not <i>follow</i> immediately.”	When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
10	Then He told them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.	Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.	Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:	Then He <i>continued by</i> saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,	Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11	There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, along with fearful sights and great signs from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute <i>you</i>, delivering <i>you</i> up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.	“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors on account of My name.	“But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
13	This will be your opportunity to serve as witnesses.	This will be your opportunity to bear witness.	And it shall turn to you for a testimony.	It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony.	And so you will bear testimony to me.
14	So make up your mind not to worry beforehand how to defend yourselves.	Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer,	Settle <i>it</i> therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:	So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves;	But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
15	For I will give you speech and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.	for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.	For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.	for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute.	For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
16	You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death.	You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.	And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and <i>some</i> of you shall they cause to be put to death. 19	By your patient endurance you will gain your souls.	By your endurance you will gain your lives.	In your patience possess ye your souls.	By your endurance you will gain your lives.	Stand firm, and you will win life.
20	But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near.	“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near. 21	Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.	Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it,	Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.	Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are inside the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city;	Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.
22	For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.	for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.	For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.	because these are days of punishment, so that all things which have been written will be fulfilled.	For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
23	How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers! For there will be great distress upon the land and wrath against this people.	Alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress upon the earth and wrath against this people.	But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.	Woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people;	How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
24	They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.	They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 32	Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.	Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.	Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.	Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.	“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
33	Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.	Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. 34	But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life— and that day will spring upon you suddenly like a snare.	“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.	And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and <i>so</i> that day come upon you unawares.	“But be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap;	“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.
35	For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of all the earth.	For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.	For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.	for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth.	For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
36	So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.	But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”	Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.	But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”	Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
37	Every day Jesus taught at the temple, but every evening He went out to spend the night on the Mount of Olives.	And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet.	And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called <i>the mount</i> of Olives.	Now during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.	Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,
38	And early in the morning all the people would come to hear Him at the temple.	And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him.	And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.	And all the people would get up very early in the morning <i>to come</i> to Him in the temple to listen to Him.	and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.
