Because the portion of the people of Judah was too large for them, the people of Simeon obtained an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance. Out of the portion of the children of Judah <i>was</i> the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them. The inheritance of the sons of Simeon <i>was taken</i> from the portion of the sons of Judah, because the share of the sons of Judah was too large for them; so the sons of Simeon received an inheritance in the midst of Judah’s inheritance. The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the share of Judah, because Judah’s portion was more than they needed. So the Simeonites received their inheritance within the territory of Judah.
10 The third lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Zebulun: The border of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid. The third lot came up for the people of Zebulun, according to their clans. And the territory of their inheritance reached as far as Sarid. And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid: Now the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families. 11 It went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam. And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that <i>is</i> before Jokneam; Then their border went up to the west and to Maralah, and it reached Dabbesheth and reached to the brook that is opposite Jokneam. Going west it ran to Maralah, touched Dabbesheth, and extended to the ravine near Jokneam.
12 From Sarid it turned eastward along the border of Chisloth-tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia. From Sarid it goes in the other direction eastward toward the sunrise to the boundary of Chisloth-tabor. From there it goes to Daberath, then up to Japhia. And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia, Then it turned from Sarid to the east toward the sunrise as far as the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it proceeded to Daberath and up to Japhia. 13 From there it crossed eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon and curved around toward Neah. From there it passes along on the east toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and going on to Rimmon it bends toward Neah, And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah; From there it continued eastward toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and it proceeded to Rimmon which stretches to Neah.
