| 24 | That is the disciple who gives his testimony as to these matters, and has written this history; and we know that his testimony is true. | This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true. | This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. | |
| 25 | But there are also many other things which Jesus did--so vast a number indeed that if they were all described in detail, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would have to be written. | Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. | Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. | |
