16 קִרְבֵ֗ת עַל־ חַד֙ מִן־ קָ֣אֲמַיָּ֔א וְיַצִּיבָ֥א אֶבְעֵֽא־ מִנֵּ֖הּ עַֽל־ כָּל־ דְּנָ֑ה וַאֲמַר־ לִ֕י וּפְשַׁ֥ר מִלַּיָּ֖א יְהוֹדְעִנַּֽנִי׃ I approached one of those who stood there and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things. I approached one of those standing there and asked him the meaning of all this. “So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things:
17 אִלֵּין֙ חֵיוָתָ֣א רַבְרְבָתָ֔א דִּ֥י אִנִּ֖ין אַרְבַּ֑ע אַרְבְּעָ֥ה מַלְכִ֖ין יְקוּמ֥וּן מִן־ אַרְעָֽא׃ ‘These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth. The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth.
