And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. While Peter was reflecting on the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three men are looking for you.

But get up, go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings, for I have sent them Myself.” So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”

What is the reason for your coming?” Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come? They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man well spoken of by the entire nation of the Jews, was divinely directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear a message from you.” The men replied, “We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say.”
So Peter invited them in as his guests. And the next day he got ready and went with them, accompanied by some of the brothers from Joppa. So he invited them in to be his guests. But Peter helped him up, saying, “Stand up; I, too, am just a man.” But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man myself.”
As Peter talked with him, he went inside and found many people gathered together. And as he talked with him, he went in and found many persons gathered. 28 He said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with a foreigner or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean. And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. And he said to them, “You yourselves know that it is forbidden for a Jewish man to associate with or visit a foreigner; and yet God has shown me that I am not to call any person unholy or unclean. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.
So when I was invited, I came without objection. I ask, then, why have you sent for me? So when I was sent for, I came without objection. I ask then why you sent for me.” Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me? That is why I came without even raising any objection when I was sent for. So I ask, for what reason did you send for me?” So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?”
Cornelius answered: “Four days ago I was in my house praying at this, the ninth hour. Suddenly a man in radiant clothing stood before me And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying in my house at the ninth hour, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, Cornelius said, “Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house during the ninth hour; and behold, a man stood before me in shining clothing, Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. 32 Therefore send to Joppa for Simon, who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, by the sea. Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee. Therefore send some men to Joppa and invite Simon, who is also called Peter, to come to you; he is staying at the house of Simon the tanner, by the sea.’ Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’
So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has instructed you to tell us. So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.” Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God. So I sent men to you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here present before God to hear everything that you have been commanded by the Lord.” So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. 35 but welcomes those from every nation who fear Him and do what is right. but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him. but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.
He has sent this message to the people of Israel, proclaiming the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all), The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)— You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
You yourselves know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee with the baptism that John proclaimed: you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; you yourselves know the thing that happened throughout Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed. You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached—
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
We are witnesses of all that He did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. And although they put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree, And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: We are witnesses of all the things that He did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross. “We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a cross,
God raised Him up on the third day and caused Him to be seen— but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He be revealed, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.
not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. not to all the people, but to witnesses who had been chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead. And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. And He ordered us to preach to the people, and to testify solemnly that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.
All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message. While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. All the Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had also been poured out on the Gentiles. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.
For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God. Then Peter said, For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared, For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter responded, For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,
“Can anyone withhold the water to baptize these people? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have! “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? “Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?” “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days. And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days. And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days. So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
