| 35 | וְאַחֲרֵיכֵ֗ן אֶתְחַבַּר֙ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֣ט מֶֽלֶךְ־ יְהוּדָ֔ה עִ֖ם אֲחַזְיָ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ה֖וּא הִרְשִׁ֥יעַ לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ | After this Jehoshaphat king of Judah joined with Ahaziah king of Israel, who acted wickedly. | Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, whose ways were wicked. | |

| 37 | וַיִּתְנַבֵּ֞א אֱלִיעֶ֤זֶר בֶּן־ דֹּדָוָ֙הוּ֙ מִמָּ֣רֵשָׁ֔ה עַל־ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט לֵאמֹ֑ר כְּהִֽתְחַבֶּרְךָ֣ עִם־ אֲחַזְיָ֗הוּ פָּרַ֤ץ יְהוָה֙ אֶֽת־ מַעֲשֶׂ֔יךָ וַיִּשָּׁבְר֣וּ אֳנִיּ֔וֹת וְלֹ֥א עָצְר֖וּ לָלֶ֥כֶת אֶל־ תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃ | Then Eliezer the son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have joined with Ahaziah, the LORD will destroy what you have made.” And the ships were wrecked and were not able to go to Tarshish. | Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have made an alliance with Ahaziah, the LORD will destroy what you have made.” The ships were wrecked and were not able to set sail to trade. | |
