2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense, not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel, likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
10 but with good works, as is proper for women who profess to worship God. but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
11 A woman is to learn quietly with full submission. Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
12 I do not allow a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; instead, she is to remain quiet. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
15 But she will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with good sense. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control. But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
