1 It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father's wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife.
2 And you are proud! Shouldn't you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you? And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this?
3 For even though I am absent physically, I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present. For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this.
4 When you gather together in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of our Lord Jesus, When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,

12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside? For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you. God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
