New King James VersionNew International Version
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. To bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Make haste to help me, O LORD!1For the director of music. Of David. A petition. Hasten, O God, to save me; come quickly, LORD, to help me.
Let them be ashamed and confounded Who seek my life; Let them be turned back and confused Who desire my hurt.2May those who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Let them be turned back because of their shame, Who say, “Aha, aha!”3May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" turn back because of their shame.
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified!”4But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, "The LORD is great!"
But I am poor and needy; Make haste to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.5But as for me, I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; LORD, do not delay.
