New King James Version | Holman Christian Standard Bible |
A Psalm of David. I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. | 1Davidic. I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings. |
I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. | 2I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and truth. You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else. |
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. | 3On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me. |
All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth. | 4All the kings on earth will give You thanks, LORD, when they hear what You have promised. |
Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD. | 5They will sing of the LORD's ways, for the LORD's glory is great. |
Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. | 6Though the LORD is exalted, He takes note of the humble; but He knows the haughty from a distance. |
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. | 7If I walk into the thick of danger, You will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend Your hand; Your right hand will save me. |
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. | 8The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. LORD, Your love is eternal; do not abandon the work of Your hands. |
