A Psalm of David. I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You.1I will give you thanks with all my heart; I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings.
I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.2I will bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your constant love and truth. You have exalted your name and your promise above everything else.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.3On the day I called, you answered me; you increased strength within me.
All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth.4All the kings on earth will give you thanks, LORD, when they hear what you have promised.
Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.5They will sing of the LORD's ways, for the LORD's glory is great.
Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar.6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the humble; but he knows the haughty from a distance.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.7If I walk into the thick of danger, you will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend your hand; your right hand will save me.
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.8The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me. LORD, your faithful love endures forever; do not abandon the work of your hands.
