International Standard VersionNET Bible
"If someone's offering is a peace offering from the cattle, the presenter is to offer it without defect, whether the animal is male or female. They are to be brought to the LORD. 1"'Now if his offering is a peace offering sacrifice, if he presents an offering from the herd, he must present before the LORD a flawless male or a female.
Then the presenter is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. After this, Aaron's sons, the priests, are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.2He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must splash the blood against the altar's sides.
"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering, an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs, 3Then the one presenting the offering must present a gift to the LORD from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that surrounds the entrails,
the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 4the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
Then Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, over the burnt offering that has been placed on the wood over the fire, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.5Then the sons of Aaron must offer it up in smoke on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the wood in the fire as a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
"If his offering to the LORD is a peace offering from the flock, whether male or female, he is to bring it without defect. 6"'If his offering for a peace offering sacrifice to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a flawless male or female.
If the offering that he is bringing is a lamb, then he is to bring it to the LORD. 7If he presents a sheep as his offering, he must present it before the LORD.
He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.8He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar's sides.
"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering as an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat—the entire fat tail near the spine, the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs, 9Then he must present a gift to the LORD from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove all the fatty tail up to the end of the spine, the fat covering the entrails, and all the fat on the entrails,
the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 10the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as a food offering made by fire to the LORD.11Then the priest must offer it up in smoke on the altar as a food gift to the LORD.
"If his offering is a goat, then he is to bring it to the LORD, 12"'If his offering is a goat he must present it before the LORD,
lay his hand over its head, then slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. After this, Aaron's sons are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.13lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar's sides.
"The presenter is then to present the gift as an offering made by fire to the LORD, that is, the fat that covers the internal organs, all the fat that is inside the internal organs, 14Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the LORD: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails,
the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 15the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
The priest is to burn it on the altar, a food offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat belongs to the LORD.16Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma--all the fat belongs to the LORD.
"This is to be a lasting statute for all your generations, wherever you live. You are not to eat any fat or blood."17This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.'"
