1"If someone's offering is a peace offering from the cattle, the presenter is to offer it without defect, whether the animal is male or female. They are to be brought to the LORD. 1If his offering is a fellowship sacrifice, and he is presenting an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he must present one without blemish before the LORD.
2Then the presenter is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. After this, Aaron's sons, the priests, are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.2He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron's sons the priests will sprinkle the blood on all sides of the altar.
3"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering, an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs, 3He will present part of the fellowship sacrifice as a fire offering to the LORD: the fat surrounding the entrails, all the fat that is on the entrails,
4the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 4and the two kidneys with the fat on them at the loins; he will also remove the fatty lobe of the liver with the kidneys.
5Then Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, over the burnt offering that has been placed on the wood over the fire, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.5Aaron's sons will burn it on the altar along with the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD."
6"If his offering to the LORD is a peace offering from the flock, whether male or female, he is to bring it without defect. 6If his offering as a fellowship sacrifice to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without blemish.
7If the offering that he is bringing is a lamb, then he is to bring it to the LORD. 7If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he is to present it before the LORD.
8He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.8He must lay his hand on the head of his offering, then slaughter it before the tent of meeting. Aaron's sons will sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.
9"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering as an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat—the entire fat tail near the spine, the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs, 9He will then present part of the fellowship sacrifice as a fire offering to the LORD consisting of its fat and the entire fat tail, which he is to remove close to the backbone. He will also remove the fat surrounding the entrails, all the fat on the entrails,
10the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 10the two kidneys with the fat on them at the loins, and the fatty lobe of the liver above the kidneys.
11Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as a food offering made by fire to the LORD.11Then the priest will burn the food on the altar, as a fire offering to the LORD."
12"If his offering is a goat, then he is to bring it to the LORD, 12If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

14"The presenter is then to present the gift as an offering made by fire to the LORD, that is, the fat that covers the internal organs, all the fat that is inside the internal organs, 14He will present part of his offering as a fire offering to the LORD: the fat surrounding the entrails, all the fat that is on the entrails,
15the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys. 15and the two kidneys with the fat on them at the loins; he will also remove the fatty lobe of the liver with the kidneys.
16The priest is to burn it on the altar, a food offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat belongs to the LORD.16Then the priest will burn the food on the altar, as a fire offering for a pleasing aroma." All fat belongs to the LORD.
17"This is to be a lasting statute for all your generations, wherever you live. You are not to eat any fat or blood."17This is a permanent statute throughout your generations, wherever you live: you must not eat any fat or any blood."
