1A Davidic psalm. The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD; | 1The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, |
2for He laid its foundation on the seas and established it on the rivers. | 2for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. |
3Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? | 3Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? |
4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully. | 4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. |
5He will receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. | 5He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. |
