Psalm 1
CSB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleInternational Standard Version
1How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!1How blessed is the person, who does not take the advice of the wicked, who does not stand on the path with sinners, and who does not sit in the seat of mockers.
2Instead, his delight is in the LORD's instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.2But he delights in the LORD's instruction, and meditates in his instruction day and night.
3He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.3He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither. He will prosper in everything he does.
4The wicked are not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.4But this is not the case with the wicked. They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5Therefore the wicked will not stand up in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.5Therefore the wicked will not escape judgment, nor will sinners have a place in the assembly of the righteous.
6For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.6For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will be destroyed.
