You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have erased their names forever.
Don't let those who trust in you be ashamed because of me, O Sovereign LORD of Heaven's Armies. Don't let me cause them to be humiliated, O God of Israel.
O LORD God of Heaven's Armies, how long will you be angry with our prayers?
O LORD God of Heaven's Armies, hear my prayer. Listen, O God of Jacob. Interlude
So now they will be humbled, and all will be brought low--do not forgive them.
Those we served before are dead and gone. Their departed spirits will never return! You attacked them and destroyed them, and they are long forgotten.
LORD, you know all about their murderous plots against me. Don't forgive their crimes and blot out their sins. Let them die before you. Deal with them in your anger.
