Visions of Future Glory
The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters, will never be heard in you again. No worker of any trade will ever be found in you again. The sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again.
My lyre is tuned to mourning, and my pipe to the sound of wailing.
There on the poplars we hung our harps,
They have harps and lyres at their banquets, pipes and timbrels and wine, but they have no regard for the deeds of the LORD, no respect for the work of his hands.
