Deuteronomy 14:21
Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother's milk.

Nuk do të hani asnjë kafshë që ka ngordhur në mënyrë të natyrshme; mund t'ua jepni të huajve që janë brenda portave tuaja që t'i hanë ose mund t'ua shisni një të huaji, sepse ti je një popull që i je shenjtëruar Zotit, Perëndisë tënd. Nuk do ta gatuash kecin bashkë në qumështin e nënes së tij.

Ne smijete jesti ništa što crkne. Daj to pridošlici koji boravi u tvojim gradovima neka jede ili pak prodaj tuđincu. Jer ti si narod posvećen Jahvi, Bogu svome. Ne kuhaj kozleta u mlijeku njegove majke!
