Matthew 2 Greek Transliterated Bible
The wise men from the east enquire after Jesus;
at which Herod is alarmed.
      6 kai  su  bēthleem  gē  iouda, 
            oudamōs  elachistē  ei  en  tois  ēgemosin  iouda· 
         ek  sou  gar  exeleusetai  ēgoumenos 
            ostis  poimanei  ton  laon  mou  ton  israēl. 
   7 tote  ērōdēs  lathra  kalesas  tous  magous  ēkribōsen  par  autōn  ton  chronon  tou  phainomenou  asteros,  8 kai  pempsas  autous  eis  bēthleem  eipen  poreuthentes  exetasate  akribōs  peri  tou  paidiou·  epan  de  eurēte  apangeilate  moi,  opōs  kagō  elthōn  proskunēsō  autō. 
They are directed by a star to Bethlehem, worship him, and offer their presents.
Joseph flees into Egypt with Jesus and his mother.
      ex  aiguptou  ekalesa  ton  uion  mou. 
Herod slays the children;
      18 phōnē  en  rama  ēkousthē 
            klauthmos  kai  odurmos  polus· 
         rachēl  klaiousa  ta  tekna  autēs, 
            kai  ouk  ēthelen  paraklēthēnai, 
         oti  ouk  eisin. 
   19 teleutēsantos  de  tou  ērōdou  idou  angelos  kuriou  phainetai  kat  onar  tō  iōsēph  en  aiguptō 
himself dies.
Jesus is brought back again into Galilee to Nazareth.
