2 Corinthians 1 Greek Transliterated Bible
Paul salutes the Corinthians;
he encourages them against troubles,
by the comforts and deliverances which God had given him,
so particularly in his late danger in Asia.
And calling both his own conscience and theirs,
he excuses his not coming to them, as proceeding not of lightness,
   15 kai  tautē  tē  pepoithēsei  eboulomēn  proteron  pros  umas  elthein,  ina  deuteran  charan  schēte,  16 kai  di  umōn  dielthein  eis  makedonian,  kai  palin  apo  makedonias  elthein  pros  umas  kai  uph  umōn  propemphthēnai  eis  tēn  ioudaian.  17 touto  oun  boulomenos  mēti  ara  tē  elaphria  echrēsamēn;  ē  a  bouleuomai  kata  sarka  bouleuomai,  ina  ē  par  emoi  to  nai  nai  kai  to  ou  ou;  18 pistos  de  o  theos  oti  o  logos  ēmōn  o  pros  umas  ouk  estin  nai  kai  ou.  19 o  tou  theou  gar  uios  christos  iēsous  o  en  umin  di  ēmōn  kēruchtheis,  di  emou  kai  silouanou  kai  timotheou,  ouk  egeneto  nai  kai  ou  alla  nai  en  autō  gegonen.  20 osai  gar  epangeliai  theou,  en  autō  to  nai·  dio  kai  di  autou  to  amēn  tō  theō  pros  doxan  di  ēmōn.  21 o  de  bebaiōn  ēmas  sun  umin  eis  christon  kai  chrisas  ēmas  theos,  22 o  kai  sphragisamenos  ēmas  kai  dous  ton  arrabōna  tou  pneumatos  en  tais  kardiais  ēmōn. 
but of his care for them.
   23 egō  de  martura  ton  theon  epikaloumai  epi  tēn  emēn  psuchēn,  oti  pheidomenos  umōn  ouketi  ēlthon  eis  korinthon.  24 ouch  oti  kurieuomen  umōn  tēs  pisteōs  alla  sunergoi  esmen  tēs  charas  umōn·  tē  gar  pistei  estēkate.
