Psalm 61
Easy Reader Bible: Purple Letter EditionKJP
To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David.

1Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. 2From the end of the earth I cry unto You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. 3For You have been a shelter for me, and a tower of strength from the enemy. 4Let me abide in Your sanctuary forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. 5For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.

6May You prolong the king's life; and may his years be as many generations. 7May he reign before God forever; O may Your mercy and truth preserve him. 8Then will I sing praise unto Your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows day by day.

A Psalm of David.
