Judith 10:19
Good News Translation
They were greatly impressed by her beauty and wondered what kind of people the Israelites were. "Who can have contempt for people whose women are so beautiful?" they asked one another. "We had better kill all the men, or else these Jews will be able to charm the whole world."

New Revised Standard Version
They marveled at her beauty and admired the Israelites, judging them by her. They said to one another, “Who can despise these people, who have women like this among them? It is not wise to leave one of their men alive, for if we let them go they will be able to beguile the whole world!”

Contemporary English Version
She was so beautiful that they stared at her and said to each other, "If every Israelite woman is this lovely, no one would want to destroy their nation. We need to be sure to kill all the Israelite men, so that they won't be able to use their beautiful women to trick and defeat the whole world."

New American Bible
They marveled at her beauty, regarding the Israelites with wonder because of her, and they said to one another, “Who can despise this people who have such women among them? It is not good to leave one of their men alive, for if any were to be spared they could beguile the whole earth.”
