Make a Joyful Noise
(Psalm 66:1–20)

מִזְמ֥וֹר (A Psalm) לְתוֹדָ֑ה (of thanksgiving).

1הָרִ֥יעוּ (Shout) לַ֝יהוָ֗ה (to YHWH),

כָּל־ (all) הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (the earth).

2  עִבְד֣וּ (Serve) אֶת־ (-) יְהוָ֣ה (YHWH) בְּשִׂמְחָ֑ה (with gladness);

בֹּ֥אוּ (come) לְ֝פָנָ֗יו (before His face) בִּרְנָנָֽה׃ (with a shout of joy).

3  דְּע֗וּ (Know) כִּֽי־ (that) יְהוָה֮ (YHWH), ה֤וּא (He is) אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים (God).

הֽוּא־ (He) עָ֭שָׂנוּ (has made us) וְלֹא (and not) אֲנַ֑חְנוּ (we ourselves)—

עַ֝מּ֗וֹ (His people) וְצֹ֣אן (and the sheep) מַרְעִיתֽוֹ׃ (of His pasture).

4  בֹּ֤אוּ (Enter) שְׁעָרָ֨יו׀ (His gates) בְּתוֹדָ֗ה (with thanksgiving),

חֲצֵרֹתָ֥יו (His courts) בִּתְהִלָּ֑ה (with praise).

הֽוֹדוּ־ (Give thanks) ל֝֗וֹ (to Him) בָּרֲכ֥וּ (bless) שְׁמֽוֹ׃ (His name).

5  כִּי־ (For) ט֣וֹב (good) יְ֭הֹוָה (is YHWH),

לְעוֹלָ֣ם (forever) חַסְדּ֑וֹ (is His loving devotion),

וְעַד־ (and unto) דֹּ֥ר (generation) וָ֝דֹ֗ר (and generation) אֱמוּנָתֽוֹ׃ (His faithfulness).
