1 John 2:1,2  My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; • and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Romans 3:25,26  whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; • for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Job 33:24  Then let him be gracious to him, and say, 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom';

Romans 8:31,33,34  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? • Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; • who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
