Solomon's kingdom typified the kingdom of the Messiah, whose throne is the throne of the Lord. Verse 26. - The words of this verse, not indeed hard to follow here, but marking the close instead of the commencement or career of David's reign over all Israel, are paralleled by the earlier passage, 1 Chronicles 18:14; 2 Samuel 8:15.
