Visibility

In the biblical context, visibility often pertains to the manifestation of God's presence, the revelation of His will, and the demonstration of His power through His people. The concept of visibility is closely tied to the idea of light, which symbolizes truth, guidance, and divine revelation. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus emphasizes the importance of visibility for His followers: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14). Here, believers are called to be visible examples of God's truth and love in a world often shrouded in darkness.

The visibility of God's people is not for their own glory but to point others to God. Jesus continues, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). In Genesis 41:39-40, Pharaoh acknowledges Joseph's divine wisdom: "Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders" . Joseph's influence not only saved Egypt from famine but also preserved the lineage of Israel.

The New Testament also highlights the influence of the early church. In Acts 2:47, it is noted that the early believers were "praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved" .
