In Luke 1:32-33, the angel Gabriel announces to Mary, "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Book of Hebrews also emphasizes the eternal priesthood and kingship of Christ. Hebrews 1:8 quotes Psalm 45:6, affirming, "But about the Son He says: 'Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.'"

Revelation 11:15 proclaims, "The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: 'The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.'"

Revelation 22:3-5 further describes the eternal state, where "the throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever."
