2 Chronicles 5:13
The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice. They lifted up their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD: "For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever." And the temple, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud
The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice.

Levites appointed under David’s ordering led Israel in unified worship at the dedication of Solomon’s Temple. Their shared voice displayed the unity required of those who minister before the holy God and anticipated the gathered praise of God’s people in Acts 2:46–47 and Revelation 5:9–14.

Ezr 3:11 And they sang responsively with praise and thanksgiving…
2Ch 20:21-22 Then Jehoshaphat consulted with the people…

They lifted up their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD:

One hundred twenty priests sounded trumpets while the Levitical musicians used instruments set apart for temple worship. The ordered music expressed both celebration and reverence as Israel recognized that the LORD had fulfilled His promise to establish His name in Jerusalem.

1Ch 15:28 So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD…
Psa 150:3-5 Praise Him with the sound of the horn;…

“For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.”

Israel’s praise centered on the LORD’s unchanging goodness and covenant faithfulness. The same confession appears repeatedly in the Psalms and recalls God’s mercy toward His people throughout their history. God’s enduring love finds its fullest revelation in Christ, through whom He provides redemption and brings His people into His presence.

2Ch 7:3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down…
1Ch 16:34 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;…

And the temple, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud

The cloud visibly revealed the glory of the LORD taking possession of the Temple, as He had filled the tabernacle after its completion in the wilderness. God approved the house built for His name, while the cloud also declared His holiness; even the priests could not remain to minister because of His glory. The Temple pointed forward to Christ and to the church, where God dwells by His Spirit.

1Ki 8:10-11 And when the priests came out of the Holy Place,…
Exo 40:34-35 Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting,…
