1 What then shall we say that Abraham (father of many), our forefather according to the flesh, has discovered?

2 If Abraham (father of many) was indeed justified (rendered innocent) by works (acts), he had something to boast about, but not before God {Theon}.

3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham (father of many) believed (had faith) God {Theō}, and it was credited to him as righteousness .”
