1 AND as I stood on the sand of the sea, I saw a wild beast rise up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads blasphemous words. 2 And the wild beast which I saw was like to a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. 3 And one of his heads was as though mortally wounded; but his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered about the wild beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon because he had given power to the beast : who can prevail against him to fight him?
