1 A Psalm of David, in his being in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I seek after You—my soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You—in a land dry and weary, without waters. 2 So in the sanctuary I have seen You, to behold Your power and Your glory. 3 Because Your loving devotion is better than life, my lips will praise You. 4 So I will bless You in my life; in Your name I will lift up my hands. 5 As with milk and fatness, my soul is satisfied, and with lips of joyful shouts, my mouth will praise You, 6 when I remember You on my bed, through the watches of the night I meditate on You. 7 For You have been a help to me, and in the shadow of Your wings I will shout for joy.
