8 I have delighted to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is in the midst of my heart.” 9 I have proclaimed tidings of righteousness in the great assembly; behold, I do not restrain my lips, O YHWH, You have known. 10 Your righteousness I have not kept hidden in the midst of my heart; Your faithfulness and Your salvation I have declared; I have not concealed Your loving devotion and Your truth from the great assembly. 11 You, O YHWH, do not withhold Your mercies from me; may Your loving devotion and Your truth continually guard me. 12 For evils have surrounded against me, until there is no numbering them; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I am not able to see; they are vast beyond the hairs of my head, and my heart has left me. 13 Take pleasure, O YHWH, to deliver me! O YHWH, may You hurry to help me! 14 Let them be put to shame and confounded together, those seeking my soul, to snatch it away! Let them be driven back and humiliated, those delighting in my harm! 15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame, those saying to me, “Aha, aha!” 16 All those seeking You, may they rejoice and be glad in You; let those loving Your salvation say continually, “YHWH be magnified!” 17 And I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me; You are my help and my deliverer—O my God, do not delay!
