Psalms 37:1-11 ▼

Of David. You should not fret ove those doing evil, and do not be jealous of the workers of iniquity.

For like the grass, soon they are cut off, and like the green of the herb they shall wither.

Trust in YHWH and do good; dwell in the land and graze in faithfulness.

And delight yourself in YHWH, and He will give to you the desires of your heart.

Roll upon YHWH your way; trust in Him, and He will act.

And He will bring forth your righteousness like the dawn, and your justice like the noonday sun.

Be still before YHWH, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret over the one succeeding in his path, over the man making schemes.

Cease from anger, and leave behind wrath; you should not burn—it only causes harm.

For those doing evil will be cut off, and those waiting on YHWH, they will inherit the land.

And in yet a little while, the wicked man is no more; and you will look for his place, and it is no more.

And the meek will inherit the land, and they will delight in the abundance of peace.
