Psalms 116:1-4 ▼

1 I have loved because YHWH has heard the voice of my supplications,

2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, even in the day I called.

3 The cords of death surrounded me, and the straits of Sheol found me; distress and sorrow did I find.

4 And in the name of YHWH I called out: “I pray, O YHWH, deliver my soul!”
