5 He set the earth upon its foundations; it should not be shaken forever and ever. 6 The deep, as with a garment You covered it; upon the mountains the waters were standing. 7 From Your rebuke they fled; from the voice of Your thunder they hurried away. 8 Upon the mountains, the valleys sank down, to the place that You established for them. 9 You have set a boundary that they may not cross over; they may never return to cover the earth.
