Philippians 1:1-10 ▼

1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus being in Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:

2 Grace to you⁺ and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you⁺,

4 always in my every supplication for all of you⁺, making the supplication with joy,

5 for your⁺ partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

6 being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you⁺ will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

7 Accordingly, it is right for me to think this about all of you⁺, because of me having you⁺ in the heart. Both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you⁺ all are fellow partakers of grace with me.

8 For God is my witness how I long for you⁺ all in the inner affections of Christ Jesus.

9 And this I pray, that your⁺ love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

10 for you⁺ to approve the things being excellent, so that you⁺ may be pure and blameless unto the day of Christ,
