Numbers 34:1-8 ▼

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Command the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you⁺ come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you⁺ as an inheritance—the land of Canaan to its boundaries:

3 And your⁺ border on the Negev shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom, and your⁺ border on the Negev shall extend to the end of the Salt Sea eastward.

4 And your⁺ border shall turn from the Negev to the Ascent of Akrabbim and continue to Zin, and the going forth will be from the Negev to Kadesh-barnea, and it shall go on to Hazar-addar and continue to Azmon.

5 And the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and will be its outer limits to the Sea.

6 And as for the western border, the Great Sea shall be to you⁺ for a border; this shall be your⁺ western border.

7 And this shall be your⁺ northern border: From the Great Sea you⁺ shall mark out to you⁺ to Mount Hor.

8 From Mount Hor you⁺ shall mark out to Lebo-hamath; and the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad;
