1 And Eliashib the high priest rose up, and his brothers the priests, and they built the Gate of the Sheep. They consecrated it and hung its doors, and they built as far as the Tower of the Hundred and consecrated it as far as the Tower of Hananel. 2 And next to his hand the men of Jericho built. And next to their hand Zaccur son of Imri built. 3 And the Gate of the Fish, the sons of Hassenaah built. They laid its beams and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars. 4 And next to their hand Meremoth son of Urijah son of Hakkoz strengthened it. And next to their hand Meshullam son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel strengthened it. And next to their hand Zadok son of Baanah strengthened it. 5 And next to their hand the Tekoites strengthened it.
