20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him. 21 And He said to her, “What do you want?” She says to Him, “Say that these two sons of mine shall sit, one at Your right hand and one at Your left hand, in Your kingdom.” 22 And answering, Jesus said, “You? do not know what you? are asking. Are you? able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?” They say to Him, “We are able.” 23 He says to them, “Indeed you? will drink My cup, but to sit at My right hand and at My left, this is not Mine to give, but to those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.” 24 And having heard, the ten were indignant about the two brothers. 25 But Jesus, having summoned them, said, “You? know that the rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and the great ones exercise authority over them. 26 It will not be this way among you?. But whoever may want to become great among you?, he will be your? servant; 27 and whoever may want to be first among you?, he will be your? slave— 28 even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:20-28, Berean Literal Bible.
