20 But after he had pondered these things, an angel (messenger) of the Lord {Kyriou} appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph (he will add), son of David (beloved), do not be afraid to embrace Mary as your wife, for the One conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit {Hagiou Pneumatos}. 21 She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus (The LORD saves), because He will save His people from their sins. 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord {Kyriou} had said through the prophet: 23 “Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel \they will call His name Immanuel/” (which means, “God {Theos} with us 24 When Joseph (he will add) woke up, he did as the angel (messenger) of the Lord {Kyriou} had commanded him and embraced Mary as his wife.
