26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by birth, and she entreated him that the devil might be cast out of her daughter. 27 And Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be fed, for it is not proper to take the children's bread, and throw it to the dogs. 28 But she replied, and said to him, True, Lord, yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this speech, go home, the devil is gone out of thy daughter. 30 And going to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid on a couch.
