48 and He saw them labouring in rowing; (for the wind was contrary:) and about the fourth watch of the night He cometh to them walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

49 But they seeing Him walking upon the water, thought it was an apparition, and cried out: for they all saw Him and were frighted.

50 And He immediately spake to them, and saith, Be of good courage, it is I, be not afraid.

51 And He went up into the ship to them, and the wind ceased, and they were exceedingly amazed in themselves, and wondered: not considering the miracle of the loaves,
