48 And seeing them struggling to row, (for the wind was against them,) and about the fourth watch of the night, he came to them, walking upon the sea. And he intended to pass by them. 49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they thought it was an apparition, and they cried out. 50 For they all saw him, and they were very disturbed. And immediately he spoke with them, and he said to them: “Be strengthened in faith. It is I. Do not be afraid.” 51 And he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind ceased.
