3 And when He was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He was at table, there came a woman with an alabaster- box of ointment of spikenard, very valuable; and she brake the box and poured it on his head. 4 And there were some provoked at it and said, Why was this waste made of the ointment? 5 For it might have been sold for above three hundred pence, and given to the poor.
