32 And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them. And they were astonished, and those following were afraid. And having taken aside the Twelve again, He began to tell them the things being about to happen to Him:

33 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death and will betray Him to the Gentiles.

34 And they will mock Him and will spit upon Him and will flog Him and will kill Him, and after three days He will rise again.”
